What is Good Research Practice?
In short, Good Research Practice is a set of behaviors that help us to:
- Design experiments that can deliver robust and reliable data
- Protect our data by maintaining records that are secure and traceable
- Communicate our results in a transparent fashion so that they can be replicated with confidence
In a sense, this is similar to recognizing, protecting and communicating value in a mined material that may (or may not) yield a diamond.
